Membership is open to all who support the object of the Society. Members receive two issues of the journal Italian Studies per year, and a notice of the AGM and other forthcoming meetings sent in the late autumn. Full-time postgraduate students in the UK and Ireland are particularly encouraged to join the Society, and are offered membership at half price. A concessionary rate is available to members of the British-Italian Society.
